Tatta-Pani meaning hot water, has various hot sulphur springs located along the banks of the Sutlej River. This natural spring is pure and the temperature of the waters keeps varying depending on the water level of the river.Tattapani is also dotted with several temples, thereby holding religious significance for the Hindus. People can also enjoy rafting and trout fishing at Tattapani, along the Sutlej River. Interestingly, the sulphur springs disappear when the level of the Sutlej rises in June-July and reappear in November-December.The Shiv Gufa (Shiva Caves) located at Saraur four kilometers from Tattapani.
